Okay, I know that it is incredibly LAME of me to post two workouts in a row with no video for demonstrations - especially at a month apart! - but I swear I have a valid excuse: My dog ate my camera. Well, more like my son Logan did. :o) He "borrowed" it to record himself playing Sky Rim and who knows what else happened to it over winter break (before I realized it was missing) but it won't hold a charge now. We'll see what Dan the Man can work out for me so I can get some videos posted again soon. :) But I HAVE TO POST THIS WORKOUT BECAUSE IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!! I feel it in every single part of my legs/hips/butt/core, so I gotta share it.

TODAY!!! What a day today has been!!! I woke up this morning to find that my husband had set up our living room for a surprise Salsa lesson for my birthday (YAY!!!), and immediately after our first lesson I got a message from my sister saying that OUR BABY SISTER IS IN LABOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right now, as I am writing, I am waiting anxiously to hear that she has delivered her son. So, because of all the excitement today and Christmas activities in general, I didn't get to make a video of my workout today - but I have enough time to make this quick entry and write down what I did. I did it 2 hours ago and my butt and legs are still tight and shaking - IT WAS AWESOME! I know that I am going to be bad tonight - Margaritas, cake, ice cream, NOM NOM NOM! - so I did a preemptive strike. It's great for warding off Christmas cookies too. ;-)

FINALS ARE OVER!!!!!!! I am so excited, I got an A in my Math course and I just took my last final for the semester this afternoon! Before I celebrate with the dinner of my choice (it has to be tilapia and hubbies incredible roasted potatoes ;-]) and some DIVINE Cabernet Sauvignon, I did a short yet INTENSE interval workout with some exercises from my Crossfitting days. I can imagine how this could sound to someone who doesn't work out, but I HAD to make sweat part of my celebration!!! :)

I can't believe I'm saying this out loud, but I didn't realize until now that the colors I chose to wear make me look like sherbert! :o)

I am just not sure how long this bee has been in my bonnet, but it's there and it's buzzing and I can't swat it away!!! Perhaps it is reading "I Wish that I had Duck Feet" with my youngest son that brought what's been building inside of me to a ferocious boil, but I have to get what's inside of me out or I know that I will EXPLODE! So if you are brave enough to read this, hold on tight because here it goes...

I think that what I did today is called paying penance. ;-) I did the swing workout from late last week and followed it up with this short Tabata-style workout - oh my gosh! My booty was on FIRE and my heart rate was through the roof... I can't remember the last time I did either KB High Pulls or Mountain Climbers! It felt like I was doing them for the first time. I couldn't lift heavier than an 8kg bell. :o)
